Challenge

With very little back-office to support their expanding business, the client purchased the back-office operations of another truck dealership group. This purchase left them with the personnel but lacked a system to provide financial reporting. Existing reporting was completed using manual data pulls from CDK and Excel to tabulate and format data.

Result

With members of the finance team having used Oracle Cloud EPM previously, it was quickly identified as the perfect solution. A new Oracle Cloud EPM solution (Planning) was implemented to provide essential income statement and balance sheet reporting from their existing data warehouse containing data from the dealer management system (CDK).

Solution

With a short window to complete the work and a limited budget, Olympus provided a set of automated processes to load Income Statement and Balance sheet data daily. This cost-effective solution provided the client the ability to create executive management the timely and accurate reporting they needed to continue their expansion.
