Challenge
As an existing Oracle Cloud EPM customer, the client's Planning application was slowly becoming more difficult to manage following the retirement of the primary administrator. While Olympus took over the day-to-day admin of the application, various issues persisted requiring unnecessary manual effort to maintain the system. The application was in need of remediation.
Result
An assessment of the existing application was performed to understand the various specific issues. Key stakeholder meetings were held and the areas for concern were documented. Once documented, an estimate and timeline of development were provided. This included a detailed list and hours required for each item.
Solution
Following the assessment, Olympus was engaged to solve calculation issues related to workforce planning, allocations, data integrations, and automated backups of the application. The final product includes a fully remediated application requiring less manual intervention.
