Oracle Cloud EPM Updates: December 2024
The documentation for the December update to Oracle Cloud EPM has been released and as usual there are quite a few new features. As a reminder, these updates are applied in test during the first daily maintenance that occurs after Friday, December 6, 2024 at 22:00 UTC and in production two weeks later during the first daily maintenance that occurs after Friday, December 20, 2024 at 22:00 UTC. This month’s update brings us a new set of formatting options in forms!
Invalid Members and Comments Retained
Smart View has another cool update this month. When you fat-finger a member name, Smart View now retains the invalid member and you can even set up highlighting in Cell Styles to show your mistake quickly:
Cloud EPM System Reports
You can now create Cloud EPM System Reports within Reports for Cloud EPM business processes like Task Manager, Supplemental Data, and Enterprise Journals. This allows embedding Data Tables within reports, connecting them to a Cloud EPM business process schema, and generating system reports based on relational system data. You can use grid features such as member selector, prompts and POV, formatting, sorting, drill to content, conditional formatting/suppression, formulas, and grouping. Additional features for relational tables include charts, text boxes, books, bursting, and Excel output. Oracle has provided an entire Schema Guide so that you can see the available tables and fields that can be included in your reports here.
