Oracle Cloud EPM Updates: January 2025
The documentation for the January update to Oracle Cloud EPM has been released and with the Holidays, the changes are relatively minimal. As a reminder, these updates are applied in test during the first daily maintenance that occurs after Friday, January 3, 2025 at 22:00 UTC and in production two weeks later during the first daily maintenance that occurs after Friday, January 17, 2025 at 22:00 UTC. For users that are transitioning away from Microsoft Excel and towards Google Sheets, you will finally have access to Smart View!
Oracle Smart View for Google Workspace
Oracle Smart View for Google Workspace allows Google Workspace users to access and work with Cloud EPM data directly from Google Sheets. Key features include form operations, ad hoc analysis, multiple connections, and various functions like HsGetValue and HsSetValue. It supports data sources such as Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management, Financial Consolidation and Close, FreeForm, Planning, and Tax Reporting. You can find more information here.
